Returns Policy

RETURNS & EXCHANGES POLICY

At Dust and Bullets Western, we take great pride in the quality of our products. We understand that sometimes a return or exchange may be required, and we aim to make this process as straightforward as possible while protecting the integrity of our products and inventory.

Change of Mind Returns & Exchanges

We offer returns for eligible items within 30 days of receiving your order.

To be eligible, all items must:

• Be lodged within 30 days of delivery / purchase. 
• Be unworn, unwashed and unused.
• Be free from makeup, perfume, deodorant, pet hair, stains, marks or damage.
• Be returned in original condition.
• Have all original tags attached, including garment tags, swing tags, barcode tags and any promotional tags.
• Be returned with original packaging where applicable.

Returns or exchanges will not be accepted if:

• One or more tags have been removed.
• Barcode tags have been removed, altered or damaged.
• Swing tags have been removed.
• Tags have been reattached after removal.
• Packaging has been significantly damaged or discarded where required.

Returns Outside 30 Days

Returns, exchanges, store credits or refunds will not be accepted outside the 30 day return period.

This applies regardless of:

• Whether the item has been worn.
• Whether the item remains tagged.
• Whether the item was purchased as a gift.
• Whether the customer was unable to try the item on during that period.

We encourage customers to inspect and try on their items as soon as possible after receiving them.


Sale Items, Promotions & Discount Codes

Items purchased during a sale, promotional event, clearance event, flash sale, EOFY sale, Black Friday sale, Boxing Day sale, warehouse sale, or using a discount code are not eligible for a refund to the original payment method.

Eligible returns for these purchases may be approved as a store credit only, provided:

• The return is lodged within 30 days of delivery.
• The item meets all other return eligibility requirements outlined in this policy.
• All original tags, including barcode tags, remain attached and undamaged.
• The item is returned in original, unworn condition.

Store credits will be issued for the amount paid after any discounts have been applied.

The following items are not eligible for return, exchange, store credit or refund unless deemed faulty under Australian Consumer Law:

• Final clearance items.
• Marked down clearance stock.
• Products advertised as “Final Sale”.
• Mystery bundles, lucky dips or mystery boxes.
• Gift cards.

Dust and Bullets Western reserves the right to determine whether a product was purchased as part of a promotion, sale event or discount offer.

Faulty Items

If you believe your item has a manufacturing fault, please contact us within 4 days of discovering the issue.

Photos and a detailed description may be required before an assessment can be completed.

Items showing normal wear and tear, accidental damage, misuse, incorrect washing, alterations or general deterioration are not considered faulty.

Return Shipping

Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs unless the item is confirmed to be faulty.

We strongly recommend using a tracked postage service as Dust and Bullets Western cannot accept responsibility for returns lost in transit.

Refund Processing

Once your return has been received and inspected, you will be notified of the outcome. This process can take 7-10 days. 

Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method. Or a store credit if a discount code or item was a sale item.  Processing times may vary depending on your financial institution.

Right to Refuse Returns

Dust and Bullets Western reserves the right to refuse any return, exchange, store credit or refund that does not comply with this policy.

This includes, but is not limited to:

• Returns lodged outside the 30 day period.
• Items returned without all original tags attached.
• Items showing signs of wear, washing or use.
• Items returned in a condition different from when supplied.
• Items returned without prior approval where approval is required.

we do not cover the cost of postage for returns.

Damages and Issues:

Please inspect your order as soon as you receive it. If your item is damaged, defective, or if you received the wrong item, please contact us immediately at customer@dustandbulletswestern.com so we can resolve the issue.

Store credits, exchanges and refunds will not be issued for any return lodged outside the 30 day returns period, regardless of whether the item was purchased at full price, on sale, or with a discount code applied.
